Let the Good Times Roll! It's time for the Washington DC Mardi Gras!

Every year, the state of Louisiana pulls out all the stops for a rollicking very un-DCish party at the Washington Hilton! This year the theme was Brazil and Samba, and the International Ballroom was filled with celebrants and a great group of talented performers from Cast of Thousands!

ISES-NCC hosts a great trade show!

Many attendees and exhibitors braved the typhoon assaulting the Bay Area, and gathered in the spacious Craneway Pavilion in Richmond Virginia. All were rewarded by a fabulous array of ISES-NCC members showing off their services, a great lunch with an inspiring speaker, and to top it all off: the sun came out! Pictured above are our strolling buffet table, and our "Clinging Vine" stilt walker.

Congratulations to Kelley Gillespie of GEM Associates!

On Friday, January 15th, we were thrilled to learn that we were part of the team that won this year's prestigious "Special Events Gala" award for the Builders Ball, held in Washington DC, at the National Building Museum. The award was presented at the annual conference hosted by Special Events Magazine, this year in New Orleans. The category was "Best Fundraiser/Gala." Our client was Kelley Gillespie of GEM events, for the theme "The Elements of Surprise: Earth, Fire, Water and Air." We provided interactive performers for each of the four elements. Pictured above is the "Water Dancer" on stilts. The Builders Ball raises money for various charities in the Washington DC area.

Four Seasons has a Red Hot Party!

Amy Regeti , of Regiti's Photography, kindly sent us some great photos of the holiday party the Four Seasons in Georgetown threw for its own employees. We provided some red hot dancers to liven up the celebration!

Here's their report:
Let's just state for the record that the Four Seasons knows how to throw a party! ... We had a wonderful time with them as they danced into the night. Some definite shout outs need to go to the folks who put it all together. Hats off to Mr. Joseph Richter who brought it all together. to those involved in setting up and pulling the whole theme throughout:

BRAVOs (continued)

When Cliff and Melissa sang the couple's favorite arias by Puccini, the crowd rose to their feet shouting BRAVO!

The finale featured the electronic cellist playing while the fire dancers and a fire eater whirled around the dance floor. The room was "ignited" with excitement. Guests were yelling and loudly whistling, and some even got into act!

BRAVOs at Castello di Amorosa Event!

The guests at the party rose to their feet, shouting "BRAVO" many times during a fabulous evening at the incredible Castello di Amorosa on Saturday night. The occasion was a surprise birthday party a very devoted husband threw for his wife! A jester and guitarist kept the guests amused while they waited for the guest of honor.

An electronic cellist played the host's favorite pieces while the guests entered the Great Hall.
To be continued.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Our saucy showgirl added spice to the benefit for Philippino flood victims, put on by Fil-Ams in Hercules, California.

After her stint as "Vanna" helping with the raffle drawing and live auction, she danced with guests and posed for photos.
Good fun for a good cause on a "Blue Moon" New Year's Eve!
